(4/24/24)Congratulations to Kyla for qualifying to the Texas State Championships as a freshman! Kyla will jump on Thursday, May 2 at the University of Texas in Austin for a chance to be the best in class 3A!
(4/24/24) Barrett Boyd wins regional with a vault of 12'1" to qualify for the state meet!! Coach Jack Chapman has led Barrett once again to the state track meet in Austin. The Zero G family will be pulling for Coach Jack and Barrett who have trained at our facility the past two years and have given us a ton of great memories. Barrett will be attending the United States Air Force Academy in the fall to further her education and athletic career.

2022 State Meet. 2 state champions, 1 state runner up, 2-4th place finishes, and a 5th place finish!!

MJ Ryman State Champion-14'3"(Class 1A)
Laney Kucera-State champion-12'6"(Class 3A)
Tye Eaton-State Runner Up-15'0"(Class 2A)
Jaxson Bray-4th-14'6"(Class 2A)

For the Second time in Zero G history, we produced 2 state Champions and a Runner up. All 6 of our UIL state Qualifiers placed in the top 6. To put this in perspective, there are roughly 200 schools in each class. If each of those have 3 entries at the district level, that means there are on average 600 vaulters trying to make it to the state meet. To finish in the top 6 out of 600 is a very respectable mark!
Tye Eaton is our sole Senior this year, and it has been such a fun ride with him and his family. Through good and bad, Tye has stuck it out, stayed focused and worked really hard to accomplish a mark of 16', which makes him one of the top 5 vaulters in Zero G history!!! Tye will have a chance to sign with the college of his choice in the coming weeks and it will be exciting to see where he makes his decision to commit!
Laney Kucera with a mark of 12'6" is one of the top 3 vaulters in Zero G history and we are also very excited because she has another season left to try to capture the top mark of 13'0" held by Tuesdi Tidwell.
MJ Ryman, who is a junior is a two time medalist and our second class 1A state champion behind Chase Hood in 2013. M.J. will be moving next year to 2A along with Jaxson, and Haygen, and all 3 will be a possibility for a medalist position at the state meet.
Jaxson Bray, Nathan Westbrook, and Haygen Dominey have steadily increased their abilities and I truly think any one of them could be in contention to win state next year.
Zero G is so proud for each one of these athletes, as well as their families. The future is bright, and we look forward to having a great summer!!
I would like to thank Coach Farmer for the help this year and we could not have done it without you!! Look forward to many more years and am blessed to be able to coach with you.

15 Area Qualifiers!!! Way to represent Zero G!
Three UIL state qualifiers, and 3 UIL State medals!!!!
Laney Kucera opened up day one of the state meet with a 3rd place finish, nearly tying her PR with a jump of 12'0". Laney was seeded third in the competition, and finished third.
Jaxson Bray opened up day two with a personal best jump of 14'3" to finish tied for second, third on misses. The winner of this division had the highest jump of any classification at the state meet, and set a new state meet record.
MJ Ryman competed on Saturday, and finished second in a very tight competition to finish up the trio, and the highest place of any ZG athlete at the meet.
Congrats to all three, and look forward to a great summer meet schedule.

The Crossbar Ranch is officially empty! Lots of great memories past and present were made in the building that Bob Richards so graciously donated for us to operate in for many years. The new facility is underway, and beginning to take shape as we plan to open the gates on May 17 for our first Zero G Club practice at the new High Bar Facility!!!
